The online Maine real estate continuing education is the best anywhere, period! Here is a list of the Maine real estate broker continuing education currently under development.

  • Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to REALTORS, and case studies.
  • Fair Housing - The topics included in this course reviews interference, coercion, intimidation, subpoenas, discrimination in residential real estate-related transactions, discrimination in the sale or rental of housing, and other prohibited practices
  • Maine Real Estate Licensing Laws - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional staus, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the Maine Real Esate Commision.
  • Trust Fund Handling - This course will provide knowledge for receiving and handling of trust funds in real estate transactions, trust fund liability, and accounting records.
    These are the current requirements for renewing your Maine Real Estate license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.

  • To renew your Real Estate License in the state of Maine, you are required to complete 21 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • Three of the 21 hours must be core hours. Core courses are approved through the Board.
  • Real Estate Licenses expire two years from the date of issuance. Continuing education must be complete prior to expiration.
  • Licensees do not need to turn in certificate of completion to the Board. They must retain a copy of the certificate to turn in at the request of the Board.
